NEARLY 70 COUNTRIES KNOCKED ON THE U.S. DOOR FOR NEGOTIATIONS
Leavitt reported that since the announcement of mutual tariffs on April 2, nearly 70 countries have approached President Trump to start negotiations. "Countries are competing with each other to correct unfair trade practices and to open their markets freely to our country," she said.
SPECIAL AGREEMENTS WILL BE MADE
Leavitt also noted that Trump met with his trade team this morning and instructed that specially prepared trade agreements be made for each country wishing to reach an agreement.
