Ferdi Tayfur's ex-wife Necla Nazır expressed her outrage at the reaction directed towards her daughter Tuğçe Tayfur during the funeral ceremony. Nazır said, "They did this at the funeral. How are we supposed to go to the hospital? They would have caused a scene at the hospital too. What would those who did this to my child at the funeral not do normally? Would someone who does not respect the dead have any respect for the living?"
The death of the legendary figure of Turkish music, Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away in a hospital in Antalya, saddened his fans. After the ceremony at the Atatürk Cultural Center, the master artist's coffin was brought to Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque for the funeral prayer, where a fight broke out at the head of the coffin.
A FIGHT BROKE OUT AT THE HEAD OF THE COFFIN
Tuğçe Tayfur, known to have had a strained relationship with her father Ferdi Tayfur, came to the mosque courtyard wanting to touch her father's coffin. At that moment, a woman, who was learned to be the famous artist's niece, confronted Tuğçe Tayfur, saying, "He shouldn't have come here... He died because of him." As the fight between the two escalated to insults, bystanders intervened to try to calm them down.
NECLA NAZIR: HOW CAN I DEAL WITH ROTTEN PEOPLE?
Ferdi Tayfur's ex-wife and Tuğçe Tayfur's mother, the famous artist Necla Nazır, erupted over the fight. Speaking to tv100, Nazır said: "I want to say this to those who love Ferdi Tayfur. There was someone over there. They asked, 'Why didn't you come to the hospital?' You clearly saw why I didn't come. How can I deal with rotten people, my child? They did this at the funeral. How could we go to the hospital? They would have caused trouble there too.
"PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THE TRUE FACE OF WHAT WE'RE GOING THROUGH"
People don't know the true face of what we're going through. They speak without understanding. We have remained silent all the time. We have no issues with anyone. But they made it seem like my child and her father were enemies. There is no such thing. He is her father. What would those who did this to my child at the funeral normally not do? Would they respect someone who doesn't respect the dead? Would they make her kiss her father's hand? They built a wall of flesh. They didn't let her get close.
