A new development has occurred in the investigation against the followers of Kuytul. Footage has been added to the case file showing Alparslan Kuytul referring to Ömer Güler, a former member who had left the community, as 'Ömer with the Skirt,' and his followers chanting this as a slogan. The prosecutor's office is investigating whether this method constitutes a form of 'organizational intimidation' against those who have left or are considering leaving the community.
A striking development occurred in the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Alparslan Kuytul and his group. Footage related to allegations that a former member who left the organization was humiliated and targeted in public, and that pressure was exerted by going to his house, was included in the investigation file.
THEY CHANTED "SKIRTED OMER" IN A GROUP
According to open-source examinations included in the investigation file, it was determined that Alparslan Kuytul targeted former member Omer Guler, who made statements about himself and the group after leaving the organization, in public. In the examined video recordings, it was seen that Kuytul used the expression "Skirted Omer" for Guler, and the group present at the meeting repeated this phrase collectively.
THEY WENT TO HIS HOUSE AND INSULTED HIM
Another element that deepened the investigation was the actions that followed these statements. According to the footage, a crowd from the group went to the front of the building where Omer Guler resided and staged a demonstration with insulting and threatening expressions. Security units and judicial authorities evaluate these actions as a "method of intimidating those who leave and criticize."
AN ORGANIZATIONAL METHOD?
Within the scope of the investigation, judicial authorities are examining whether this practice not only targets a single individual but also aims to "instill fear and intimidation" in other members of the organization who are considering leaving or voicing criticism. All images and evidence in the file continue to be evaluated in line with the judicial process.
