As the war entered its 8th day, US and Israeli warplanes began new air strikes on Iran's capital, Tehran. Following the attacks, there were violent explosions in the capital.

The Israeli army announced that they struck an underground shelter in Tehran, said to belong to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with 50 warplanes and that approximately 100 bombs were used in the operation.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were killed.
Iran's Health Ministry Spokesman Hussein Kermanpur announced that 926 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
