It was emphasized in the post that a significant innovation has been implemented in reliable food processes, stating that there is a requirement to indicate the content and allergen information of foods alongside menus in establishments such as restaurants, cafes, and canteens.
OBJECTIVE: TO ENABLE CONSCIOUS CHOICES BY CONSUMERS
The post highlighted that it is mandatory to present the content and energy (calorie) values of foods to consumers in collective consumption places such as restaurants, cafes, and canteens, and stated: "This information can be presented on menus, wall boards, brochures, digital screens, or through QR codes. If the information is provided via QR code, it is mandatory for businesses to display a sign in a visible place stating 'You can access this information via QR code. If consumers who cannot use QR codes request it, the information will be provided to them separately.' The aim is to ensure that consumers make conscious choices, protect them from allergens, and facilitate choices that align with religious, health, or personal preferences."
