The investigation into the death of singer Güllü is ongoing. The lawyer of her daughter, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who is in custody, Merve Uçanok, has submitted forensic reports obtained from a private university and new footage from the night of the incident to the case file. The report suggests that Güllü may have fallen, and footage of Güllü entering the bathroom has also emerged.
Famous singer Güllü (52) died after falling from the window while having fun with her daughter and friend on the closed terrace of an apartment on Vali Akı Street in the Harmanlar neighborhood of Çınarcık district in Yalova. In the investigation conducted by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding Güllü's death, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was placed under physical and technical surveillance, was detained in Istanbul along with her friend Sultan Nur Ulu and two others while they were preparing their suitcases to flee abroad. Additionally, Sultan Nur Ulu's father was also detained in the Gebze district of Kocaeli as part of the investigation.
NEW EVIDENCE PRESENTED IN THE INVESTIGATION FILE Lawyer Merve Uçanok, representing Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, who was detained on charges of 'intentional murder', announced that they submitted reports obtained from forensic experts and specialists at a private university to the file. It was reported that a report was prepared regarding Güllü's fall, and new footage from the moment she entered the bathroom on the night of her death also emerged.
"THEY WENT TO ISTANBUL WITH MY KNOWLEDGE" Merve Uçanok, who is the lawyer for Sultan Nur Ulu, a friend of Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter who was in the same room on the day of the incident, made a statement in front of the Yalova Police Department. Uçanok, who provided information about the process before visiting her clients, claimed that there were some distortions of information before and after Gülter and Ulu's detention processes, stating that her clients became unable to go out in Çınarcık and Yalova, and that they went to the house of their relative T.Y. in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul, upon her advice and knowledge. Uçanok said, "My client, who has been declared a murderer in front of society by violating the presumption of innocence, has no place to stay here. I suggested that she go to her trusted sister Tuğba and stay for a while. Her friend Gökhan's house started to be monitored for a while. Tuğyan was scared. On one hand, there is a lynching in society, broadcasts that go on until the morning, and threatening messages coming to her phone. Because she was overwhelmed by this situation, I told her to call '155' and explain the situation. I said to either stay with Tuğba and her husband, or if they continue to follow her there, go to Istanbul and give a statement."
A REPORT WAS PREPARED REGARDING THE POSSIBILITY OF FALLING Uçanok also stated that they submitted reports obtained from forensic experts and specialists at a private university, and continued as follows:
"We received a report from a professor who is highly valued in the forensic community. Since he also conducted an inspection at the scene, I am approximately 1.65 meters tall, and Güllü was around my height. One of the points our professors emphasized is that the window height is 74 centimeters. For a person of my height, part of my body would remain outside from the inner thigh muscle level to the head level. She had consumed 3.53 promille of alcohol that night. She had started drinking wine, which is an alcohol she hadn't consumed in the last two weeks. This is a type of alcohol that is more intoxicating and destabilizing compared to other types. Additionally, a heavy antidepressant medication was also found in her blood values along with this alcohol level. Since both substances were present, a report was prepared indicating that someone experiencing a serious balance problem could have fallen from a height of 74 centimeters. Güllü's alcohol level was between 3.5-4, which indicates a coma state. Moreover, due to the interaction with the mentioned antidepressant, there is a high probability that she experienced a serious balance problem, making the likelihood of falling from a very low place strong and probable."
FOOTAGE OF THE SINGER ENTERING THE BATHROOM BEFORE THE INCIDENT EMERGED On the other hand, new footage has been obtained regarding the moments when singer Güllü entered the bathroom on the night she passed away. Lawyer Uçanok drew attention to this issue, stating, "There is also footage of Güllü entering the bathroom. She is swaying so much that she suddenly holds onto the wall. She is not in a position to stand."
