PROSECUTOR SHOT THE FEMALE JUDGE WITH A GUN
The incident occurred on January 13 at around 1:00 PM at the Kartal Regional Court of Appeals. Prosecutor Muhammed Çağatay Kılıçaslan, who works at the Anadolu Courthouse, fired a gun at Judge Aslı Kahraman while they were sitting in the room. Kahraman was injured in the groin area.
WHAT HAPPENED IN THE COURTHOUSE AFTER THE INCIDENT ON CAMERA
Yakup Karadağ, a tea server assigned to the courthouse who is an inmate at the Maltepe Open Prison, prevented Kılıçaslan from firing a second time. While Kahraman was taken to the hospital, Prosecutor Kılıçaslan was arrested. Security camera footage of the events that occurred after the attack in the courthouse has emerged.
