The images recorded by a security camera belonging to a farm show that Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to hiding Narin Güran's lifeless body, was seen heading towards the Eğertutmaz Stream, where he concealed the body, around 15:42 on August 21. BAHTIYAR SPENT 38 MINUTES AND 11 SECONDS AT EĞERTUTMAZ STREAMThe records indicate that approximately 40 minutes later, Bahtiyar left the area in his vehicle and passed a point near the farm house around 16:23. The suspect Bahtiyar was seen driving towards Tavşantepe neighborhood again around 16:45. The indictment states, "At 15:41 on the day Narin went missing, a suspicious vehicle entered the camera angle of the farm located across Tavşantepe neighborhood, and it was determined that this vehicle stopped on the dirt road near Eğertutmaz Stream around 15:44. According to the camera's timestamp, it left the vicinity of Eğertutmaz Stream 38 minutes and 11 seconds later, and it was identified that the vehicle in question was red. It was clearly established that the vehicle was under the use of Nevzat Bahtiyar through the tracking of the camera footage." "I WENT TO MY SISTER-IN-LAW'S HOUSE" STATEMENTDuring the first hearing of the case regarding the murder of Narin Güran at the 8th Heavy Penal Court on November 7, the suspect Bahtiyar stated in his defense, "After leaving the body in the stream, I went to my sister-in-law's house. She had made cheese for us, and I took it home." Additionally, upon the request of the suspect's lawyers, the court issued an interim decision to request any recordings from the "Şahingöz" camera located in the Daran-2 Base Area between 15:00 and 17:00 on the day of the incident from the Bağlar District Gendarmerie Command. In the report prepared by the gendarmerie, the following statements were included: "It has been determined by obtaining information from the technical personnel on duty at the Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Command that the Gözcü-2 (Keskingöz) electro-optical sensor system present in the Daran-2 Base Area does not have video recording capabilities and is not connected to any recording device, and that only real-time images could be viewed with the thermal camera." A WHATSAPP GROUP WAS FORMED AFTER NARIN WENT MISSINGThe case file also contains information that a WhatsApp group was formed after Narin Güran went missing, and that some family members, including uncle Salim and brother Enes Güran, were part of this group. HEARING ON DECEMBER 26Narin Güran, who went missing in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the central Bağlar district of Diyarbakır on August 21, was found dead in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8. As part of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 12 out of 23 suspects, including uncle Salim, mother Yüksel, brother Enes Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, were arrested. The investigation against Salim, Yüksel, and Enes Güran, along with Nevzat Bahtiyar, has been completed, and the indictment prepared with a request for aggravated life imprisonment for "intentional murder of a child in complicity" was accepted by the Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Penal Court on October 23. The trial of the suspects began on November 7, and the hearing, which lasted for three days and resulted in the continuation of the suspects' detention, was postponed to December 26.
