TURKISH AND AZERBAIJANI POLICE ACTED JOINTLY
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the operation was carried out under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Department and Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, in cooperation with the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Branch Directorate and the Azerbaijani Police.

The statement included the following expressions:
"In the conducted investigations; the trace of a person named Ö.A.K., who was involved in attempts of robbery by shooting at workplaces and extorting money from businesspeople with threats, and who was in contact with members of the new-generation criminal organization currently detained in prison for these crimes, was found.
HE WAS WANTED FOR MANY CRIMES
The person named Ö.A.K., for whom an arrest warrant was issued for the crimes of 'Intentional Murder, Purchasing, Accepting, Possessing and Using Drugs or Stimulants for Use, and Purchasing or Carrying Two Separate Unlicensed Firearms and Ammunition,' was captured in Baku and brought to our country.
