The forest fire that started yesterday in the Yalancıboğaz neighborhood of Marmaris district in Muğla spread over a wide area due to the wind. While teams intervened with 16 helicopters, 7 planes, 21 water tenders, 6 water tankers, and 2 bulldozers, night-vision helicopters also joined the efforts. As the intensity of the fire was reduced, aerial and ground extinguishing efforts continue on their second day.

A fire broke out yesterday at around 17:30 in the forest near Kaba Kargı Cove in the Yalancıboğaz neighborhood of Marmaris. The flames, fueled by the wind, quickly spread over a wide area. Teams were dispatched to the region upon notification. The fire was fought with 16 helicopters, 7 planes, 21 water tenders, 6 water tankers, and 2 bulldozers.
AIR AND GROUND RESPONSE CONTINUES
With the onset of darkness, a night-vision helicopter also began intervention in the fire zone. As of this morning, numerous aerial vehicles, along with ground vehicles, have joined the firefighting efforts. While the fire's intensity has been reduced, the response to the flames continues from both air and ground.
