Moments when rock fragments broke off from the slopes and quickly rolled onto the road due to the intensity of the tremor on the road to Hakbilir village, the epicenter of the earthquake, were captured second by second by a security camera. The fact that no vehicles or pedestrians were on the road at the time of the incident prevented a possible disaster.
MAYOR VISITED THE AREA
On the other hand, Kemah Mayor Cevdet Bayram, who went to the region immediately after the tremor to conduct inspections, had identified rock falls on site. Bayram, who conducted inspections in the village center and its surroundings, reported that there were no negative conditions other than the rock falls along the road route and noted that security measures had been taken.
It was learned that the field teams' controls in the region are ongoing.
