The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, announced in a written statement that the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) has added another service to the 42 services it offers through e-Government. Providing information about the service, Minister Uraloğlu stated, "As part of the work carried out by BTK, we have launched a new service that allows citizens to easily compare their phone and internet tariffs."

"ACCESSIBLE FROM A SINGLE PLATFORM"

Minister Uraloğlu stated, "The tariffs and campaigns offered by the 13 companies with the most subscribers in the electronic communication sector can now be compared on the e-Government portal. Mobile phone, fixed internet, and fixed telephone tariffs will be accessible and comparable from a single platform."

"COMPARISONS CAN BE MADE WITH MANY CRITERIA"

Uraloğlu noted that with the new system, citizens can now see the tariffs offered by different operators without having to browse separate websites. Uraloğlu said, "Citizens will be able to easily compare many criteria such as operator name, average monthly fee, payment type, contract duration, connection speed, cancellation fee, and additional benefits." Uraloğlu also mentioned that citizens can access the application at 'https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/btk-tarife-karsilastirma'.

THE PROJECT WAS NOMINATED IN THE WORLD INFORMATION SOCIETY SUMMIT COMPETITION

Uraloğlu stated that the new application will increase competition in the sector, allowing consumers to easily access more advantageous campaigns, thus encouraging operators to provide higher quality and more affordable services. Uraloğlu said, "Our citizens will be able to reach the most suitable tariff for their needs without wasting time. We will facilitate their correct choices by providing transparent information."

Uraloğlu noted that the tariff comparison service has already been nominated for an international award, stating, "Our service has been nominated in the 'Access to Information' category for the year 2025 in the competition organized by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU) at the World Information Society Summit (WSIS)."
