In the CEV Women's Champions League Final Four event, VakıfBank lost to Savino Del Bene 3-0.
The Italian team Savino Del Bene, which defeated VakıfBank 3-0 in the Women's CEV Champions League Final Four organization, has advanced to the final.
For the first time in its history, Savino Del Bene has secured a place in the final and will face another Italian representative, A. Carraro Imoco, in the championship match starting tomorrow at 19:00.
VakıfBank will compete against Numia Vero Volley for third place at 16:00.
The match started with alternating points. After a 4-4 tie, Savino Del Bene took control of the game, especially with points from Bajema and Antropova, and finished the first set with a 25-12 lead, going ahead 1-0.
In the second set, VakıfBank could not find a way to get back into the game. Savino Del Bene continued its effective play with points from the Russian-Italian opposite hitter Antropova, winning the set 25-19 and bringing the score to 2-0.
With the experienced player Maja Ognjenovic asserting her presence in the game, Savino Del Bene also finished the third and final set ahead 25-21, winning the match 3-0 and securing a place in the final.
