While the investigation into the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır continues, AK Party Diyarbakır Deputy Garip Ensarioğlu, who sparked controversy by saying "Sometimes there are things we need to know but not say," made another statement.

Ensarioğlu, who stated that his words were distorted, used the expression "He may have killed Narin because he saw something he shouldn't have seen" and said the following about the AK Party deputy's statements; "The investigation is being conducted very seriously. The completion of the detailed examinations at the Forensic Medicine with the findings obtained from Narin's autopsy will also unravel the knot. The investigation will reach a conclusion, and those who committed this cruelty and those who were involved will be revealed and punished accordingly. The state is pursuing the issue like never before. The society is also more sensitive and aware than ever before.

I emphasized the wrong interpretations and the need for the investigation to be conducted in confidentiality. I have been following the issue since the first day, and I also know the region closely, and I have friends from the family as well. I simply emphasized the confidentiality of the investigation."

Ensarioğlu also made the following evaluations regarding Narin's murder; "As it is known, one of the suspects confessed that he received Narin's lifeless body from her uncle Salim Güran, who is the village headman of Narin, and hid it in the river. Salim Güran had already been arrested last week after the detection of Narin's DNA trace in his car and the deletion of data on his phone.

The headscarf that Narin was wearing when she left the Quran course was also found in the house where she lived with her family. This is also important information because it shows that Narin reached home before being kidnapped, which was also speculated. In addition, on that day, the young people of the village went to the surrounding villages to distribute the wedding invitations that would take place two days later. These bring to mind the idea that Narin may have been killed by her uncle Salim Güran because she saw something she shouldn't have seen. He is currently denying these.
