The case of social media phenomenon İbrahim Yılmaz, who is accused of "encouraging individuals to advertise and otherwise promote fixed-odds or pool betting or gambling based on sports events" and facing a prison sentence of 1 to 3 years for illegal betting advertising in Istanbul, has been concluded. The hearing at the Istanbul 24th Criminal Court of First Instance was attended by the defendant İbrahim Yılmaz, who is not in custody, and his lawyer.

PRISON SENTENCE IMPOSED
