GANG MEMBERS EXITED FROM THE STOPPED VEHICLE
During efforts to prevent the crimes of 'establishing, managing, and being a member of an organization,' Istanbul Police Department teams stopped a vehicle on suspicion in the Sultanmurat neighborhood of Küçükçekmece.
E.C. (24), S.Ç. (24), B.U. (19), M.Ş. (28), and Y.B. (23), who were in the vehicle, were apprehended, and during a search, an unlicensed pistol, a magazine, and 11 rounds of ammunition were seized from Y.B.
THEY WERE PREPARING AN ACTION
Expanding their investigations, the teams obtained information that the suspects were preparing an action against a workplace in Kadıköy. It was determined that M.B. (35), who was identified as giving instructions to the suspects and had a finalized 16-year prison sentence, was hiding in Esenyurt.
THE GANG LEADER WAS ALSO CAPTURED
In an operation at the address in Esenyurt, M.B. was captured, and after examining the seized digital materials, it was determined that the suspects were acting as an organized crime group.
6 SUSPECTS ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
After their procedures at the police station, the 6 suspects, who were referred to the courthouse on charges of 'violating Law No. 6136', 'intentional killing', 'establishing a criminal organization', and 'being a member of a criminal organization', were arrested by the judge.
