TWO MORE INDIVIDUALS IN THE FOOTAGE
In the expert report regarding the moments of the murder, it was stated that there were two more individuals at the scene with the detained suspects B.B. and U.B. before Minguzzi was stabbed.
TWO INDIVIDUALS HAD BEEN ARRESTED
In the indictment prepared by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it is stated that on January 24, Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi went to the historical Tuesday market in Kadıköy Hasanpaşa with his friends to buy skateboarding equipment, and while they were wandering around, they encountered U.B. (15) and B.B. (15), and after a conversation between them, B.B. pushed Minguzzi.
The indictment mentions that B.B. confronted Minguzzi again, who continued to wander, and punched him, and that the suspect injured Minguzzi in different parts of his body with a knife in his hand.
The indictment states that U.B. also kicked Minguzzi, who had fallen to the ground, and after the intervention of bystanders, U.B. and B.B. fled the scene. It is noted that Minguzzi, who was treated in the hospital after the incident, passed away 17 days later on February 9. According to the autopsy report obtained from the Forensic Medicine Institution, it is explained that the cause of Minguzzi's death was internal organ injuries due to an attack with a sharp object.
The indictment records that the arrested suspects U.B. kicked Minguzzi, while B.B. stabbed him multiple times with a knife taken from the counter. It is requested that both suspects, who were caught and arrested after the incident, be sentenced to imprisonment ranging from 18 to 24 years for the crime of "intentional killing of a child."
