He warned, "Israel-US has bombed our Bushehr plant 4 times. The radioactive fallout will not endanger Tehran, but will end life in the capitals of the Gulf Cooperation Council." The Iranian Minister stated, "The attacks on our petrochemical sector clearly reveal the true intentions behind these actions."

It was reported that security personnel at the plant lost their lives as a result of the attack. It was noted that one of the adjacent buildings of the plant was damaged due to the impact of the explosion and falling shrapnel. HEAVY RESPONSE TO US CEASEFIRE PROPOSAL The issue of "ceasefire" has come back to the agenda in the ongoing war for 36 days; however, it ended negatively. A senior Iranian official announced that the US had offered a "48-hour temporary ceasefire to Iran through a third country." A source speaking to the Fars News Agency stated that Iran did not provide a written response to the ceasefire proposal, but instead responded by continuing heavy attacks on the ground, adding, "The diplomatic efforts of the US to secure a ceasefire intensified, especially after the targeting of a military storage area belonging to this country on Bubiyan Island in Kuwait."
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between Tehran and Washington. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and many high-ranking officials were killed.
