Sırrı Süreyya Önder, a member of the DEM Party's İmralı delegation, stated in a television program that PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan rejected the words of MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, who said, "Let him come to the Parliament and speak," by saying, "They are putting a lot of pressure on him; let's not make things harder for him, I can speak from here."
DEM Party Member of Parliament and member of the DEM Party İmralı delegation, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, made striking statements during a live broadcast on Habertürk following the call for disarmament by the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan.
ÖCALAN REJECTED BAHÇELİ'S CALL LIKE THIS
Önder explained during the live broadcast how Öcalan rejected the call from MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli for Öcalan to "come to the Parliament and speak."
Önder conveyed that Öcalan rejected the call by saying, "They are putting a lot of pressure on him, let's not complicate his work, I can speak from here, you are already in the Parliament."
WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
The DEM Party delegation recently met for the third time with the terrorist organization PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan on İmralı Island. The third meeting at the İmralı F-Type High Security Closed Prison included a 7-member DEM Party delegation, which consisted of Pervin Buldan, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Ahmet Türk, and DEM Party Co-Chairs Tülay Hatimoğulları and Tuncer Bakırhan.
CALL FOR DISARMAMENT
The DEM Party İmralı delegation, returning to Istanbul, shared Öcalan's call text with the public. In Öcalan's message, it was stated, "Gather your congress and make a decision; all groups must disarm, and the PKK must dissolve itself. I take full responsibility."
