According to the latest assessments made by the Meteorology, rain is expected today in Muş, Bitlis, Bingöl, Van, Hakkari, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Siirt, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Ankara, Eskişehir, and Adana.

According to the data from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), it is predicted that the eastern Marmara, Southern and Inner Aegean, Western and Central Mediterranean, the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea, the northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as Muş, Bitlis, Bingöl, Van, Hakkari, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Siirt, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, the southern part of Ankara, Eskişehir, and the northern surroundings of Adana will experience intermittent rainfall. It is expected that the rainfall will be in the form of rain and showers in the eastern Marmara, Southern and Inner Aegean, Western and Central Mediterranean coasts, Black Sea coasts, Manisa, Denizli, the southern part of Ankara, the northern parts of Adana, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, and Siirt, while other places receiving precipitation will have mixed rain and snow, and snow.

MGM reported that strong snowfall is expected in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as in the regions of Karaman, Niğde, Kayseri, Sivas, Erzincan, Tunceli, and Bingöl. On the other hand, there is a risk of frost along with fog and occasional mist in the inner and eastern parts of the country, and there is an avalanche risk in the high areas of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

MGM also warned citizens about the negative impacts that could be caused by strong snowfall, strong winds, avalanche risk, and frost events.
