Şükriye Aci stated that she was excluded from the process, saying, "There is actually a very long process here that is unknown and unseen. This process was managed a lot by my husband's family, and I was not given much of a say. Subsequently, I was left alone with a very small child. For six months, neither I nor the other injured parties received any information regarding the case. At the end of six months, for the first time, their lawyers wanted to talk to me. They said they were in discussions with the other party, that I shouldn't rush to conclusions, that I had a child, and that I needed to think logically. In fact, at that time, they were discussing amounts around fifty, fifty-five million. I didn't say anything during that process. Unfortunately, I was only able to understand that something was going wrong at the end of six months." she said.
I REALIZED AFTER 6 MONTHS
The young woman expressed that the compensation had been discussed from the beginning, saying, "Unfortunately, I was able to realize six months later that I was not on the same page as the plan they had in their minds from day one. I heard that my father-in-law would receive such an amount, and that we would give the injured parties two hundred and fifty each, and that they would hold on like that. These are things that came out of their own lawyers' mouths. They said they would give the injured parties this much, and after the money was received, it wouldn't concern me anymore, and they could eat each other if they wanted. I learned all of this very clearly." she stated.
