A clear call came from İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu to Özgür Özel, who lost the CHP Chairmanship due to a definitive nullity decision. Dervişoğlu stated, "Come, let's tighten the ranks for democracy. We stand here like a mountain; if anyone wants to lean on us, they are welcome. There is a place for them at the top of our heads."

A striking call came from İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu to Özgür Özel, who lost his position as CHP Chairman due to a decision of absolute nullity. Reacting to allegations of judicial intervention against the CHP, Dervişoğlu said, "Let's close ranks for democracy. We stand here like a mountain; if anyone wants to lean on us, they are welcome. They have a place of honor with us."

DERVİŞOĞLU'S MESSAGE OF SUPPORT TO ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

In his speech at his party's TBMM Group Meeting, İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu evaluated the process unfolding in the CHP after the absolute nullity decision. Arguing that what happened is not merely an internal matter of the CHP, Dervişoğlu asserted that politics in Turkey is being reshaped.

Stating that interventions against the CHP are dangerous for democracy, Dervişoğlu said, "We see that the current situation is not an internal matter of the CHP, but from the beginning has been designed as a step in a larger quest to shape how politics works in Turkey."

"WE DO NOT DISMISS ACTIONS AGAINST THE CHP AS 'A JUDICIAL DECISION'"

In his speech, Dervişoğlu also addressed the processes against the CHP, saying, "Just as we do not dismiss the negotiation with İmralı as 'peace,' we do not dismiss the forced entry into the CHP and the appointment of a trustee over it as merely a judicial decision."

Arguing that the judiciary's design of politics has had severe consequences in Turkey's past, Dervişoğlu cited examples from the Yassıada trials to the September 12 period, stating their opposition to political interventions.

"WE DO NOT WANT A TRUSTEE REPUBLIC"

The İYİ Party leader emphasized that politics should be shaped by the will of the nation, not by court decisions, and said, "We do not want a trustee republic. We do not want a tutelary democracy. We want a Turkey where the word of the nation, not those who pledge allegiance to one person, is supreme. We want a Turkey where the ballot box, not the courts, determines politics."

AN OPEN CALL TO ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

At the end of his speech, Dervişoğlu made a remarkable call to the CHP administration and Özgür Özel. Reminding that he had previously issued various warnings, the İYİ Party leader said the opposition must act together.

"As someone who has been warning and proven right from the beginning, I say again: Let us defend this Republic with joint effort. Let us break this blockade together. Let us close ranks for democracy. Realize now that fake solution tables are actually a dynastic trap," Dervişoğlu said, emphasizing that they will continue to defend the national will.

"WE STAND HERE LIKE A MOUNTAIN"

Delivering a message of support to the opposition, Dervişoğlu said, "We will continue to stand by the national will under all conditions and circumstances, no matter the outcome, without giving up. We stand here like a mountain; if anyone wants to lean on us, let them come. Our front is the Republic and democracy. Anyone who joins our front will find a place of honor with us."
