In operations conducted in 22 provinces centered in Ankara, 65 people were detained in connection with a gang accused of fraud through stock investment and public offering promises. Of the suspects, 29 were arrested, and the operation details revealed a money movement of 1 billion 358 million lira.

In an operation targeting suspects accused of fraud through stock investment and public offering promises in 22 provinces centered in Ankara, 65 people were detained. 29 of the suspects were arrested. The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office coordinated with the Ankara Public Security Branch to initiate a study against the gang defrauding citizens with promises of stock investment and public offerings. The investigation revealed that the suspects deceived citizens with investment promises. The suspects, who gained trust by showing small amounts of profit, were later found to be committing fraud by demanding large sums of money.

ACCOUNTS BELONGING TO 45 COMPANIES AND INDIVIDUALS WERE USED 

In studies conducted with MASAK and relevant institutions, it was determined that accounts belonging to 45 companies and 45 individuals were used in the fraud, with a total money movement of 1 billion 358 million Turkish lira. In simultaneous operations conducted in 22 provinces, 65 people were detained. While 29 of the suspects were arrested, the procedures for the others are ongoing.
