Within the scope of the 'bid rigging' investigation conducted by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the Avcılar Municipality, 13 suspects were detained in simultaneous operations carried out in 4 provinces centered in Istanbul. It was alleged that the suspects, in the 'Asphalt Production Works' tender in 2022, raised the tender cost by obtaining high bids from public institutions without conducting approximate cost research, causing 3 million 302 thousand liras of public loss.
