FLAMES HAVE REIGNITED IN SOME AREAS

EXTINGUISHING EFFORTS CONTINUE
Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer reminded AA correspondent that four villages were evacuated as a precaution due to the forest fire affecting Bilecik.
Stating that the teams are continuing their intensive work here, Sözer said, "It would not be correct to say 'completely extinguished' at this moment. Our teams are continuing their extinguishing efforts. Of course, the wind conditions are affecting our work. If the wind calms down quickly, with God's permission, we will bring it under control."
REST AREA EVACUATED
Due to the fire spreading with the effect of the wind, the restaurant and shops selling local products in a rest area, which includes a gas station on the Sakarya-Bilecik highway, were evacuated.
To stop the progress of the fire, some trees in the area are being cut down by forest workers, and fire trucks are being held at certain points.
