Özgür Özel, who lost the chairmanship of CHP due to an absolute nullity decision, said regarding new party allegations: "There is already a new party, we must be prepared for a disaster scenario. To use in the worst-case scenario. Even another new party. It is necessary to prepare a second party as well. But this is a march to power that transcends CHP. We will do this not by abandoning the party, but by fighting within it."

Özgür Özel, who lost the chair of the Republican People's Party (CHP) due to a decision of absolute nullity, made striking statements regarding a possible new party scenario during a conversation with journalists after the group meeting. While stating that they are not preparing to establish a new party, Özel said that alternatives should be evaluated against extraordinary political scenarios.

"I WOULD CAST THE FIRST VOTE FOR A SNAP ELECTION"

Responding to journalists' questions, Özel stated that they are ready for a possible snap election and said, "If they are going to hold an election in November, I would cast the first vote. We would field our candidate and change the President."

"THERE IS ALREADY A NEW PARTY"

Speaking about the new party debates, Özel expressed that this is not a current political project, but alternative plans need to be considered for extraordinary conditions.

Özel stated, "There is already a new party. It will happen, it must happen, but we thought of this for a disaster scenario. For example, if a decision of absolute nullity is made and then a snap election is held, or if the party's eligibility to enter the election is questioned, then without a new party, a major shock could occur."

"WE WON'T ABANDON THE CHP"

Emphasizing that this scenario does not mean leaving the CHP, Özel said, "A second party might need to be prepared for use in the worst-case scenario. However, we have no decision or ongoing process to leave the CHP and switch to another party."

Özel stated that they will continue their political struggle under the CHP umbrella, saying, "This is a great march for power that transcends the CHP. But we will do this not by leaving the party, but by struggling within it."

"THE PARTY IS LOSING TIME, BUT NOT LOSING BLOOD"

Also touching on internal party debates, Özel argued that the CHP maintains its public support and said, "The party is losing time, but not losing blood. We are in the crosshairs because the change movement hasn't made the expected mistakes."

"I HAVE NO CONCERN ABOUT MYSELF"

Responding to a question about the possibility of a legal report being prepared against him or his immunity being lifted, Özel said he has no personal concerns. Özel stated, "I have no concern about myself. However, I have concerns regarding the future of multi-party political life and public order in Turkey."
