Özel is expected to deliver his square message from İzmir in the new process.
In the new process that began after the "absolute nullity" decision in the CHP, all eyes are on the steps Özgür Özel will take. Özel, who lost his chairmanship, will hold his first planned rally today in Izmir.
In his statement in front of the CHP headquarters, Özel said, "From now on, we will be in the squares and on the streets," and it was stated that he would start the first major gathering of the new period from Izmir.
CHP PROVINCE CHAIRMAN CALLS FOR ACTION

GOVERNORATE'S DECISION ON CUMHURIYET SQUARE
It was learned that the Izmir Governorate did not permit the CHP's request to hold a rally at Cumhuriyet Square. It was reported that the Governorate, stating only a limited number of people could be allowed in the square, proposed Gündoğdu Square for the rally.
The CHP administration, however, announced that the rally location would not change. It was stated that Özgür Özel informed the Governorate that the event would take place at Cumhuriyet Square.
FIRST MAJOR GATHERING
The CHP side will hold its first major public gathering in Izmir following the intervention at the headquarters. The party leadership considers the Izmir event as the first square message of the new process.
