Three people died and 31 others were injured, one seriously, when a passenger bus overturned in the Bandırma district of Balıkesir.
THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED AT KÜLEFLİ JUNCTION
The accident occurred around 03:30 at Külefli Junction. The passenger bus with license plate 35 PK 328, traveling from Tekirdağ towards İzmir, overturned after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
TEAMS WERE MOBILIZED
Following the accident, medical, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams provided first aid to the passengers at the accident site.
IDENTITIES OF THE DECEASED CONFIRMED
Nezire Akova, Elif Kel, and Kemal Can Sert lost their lives in the accident, while 31 others were injured, one seriously. The injured were taken to surrounding hospitals by ambulances after initial medical intervention. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the morgue of Bandırma Training and Research Hospital.
