In a house fire that broke out in Pendik during the night, three siblings aged 2, 5, and 9 lost their lives, while their 11-year-old sibling was hospitalized with serious injuries. Following the fire, social media photos reportedly belonging to the children and family members emerged.
In Pendik, a fire that broke out at night claimed the lives of three children who were left alone at home, while one child was hospitalized with serious injuries.
3 SIBLINGS DIED IN A HOUSE FIRE AT NIGHT
The incident occurred around 02:37 at a two-story house on Umman Street in the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood of Pendik. Allegedly, a fire broke out in the entrance floor of the house for an undetermined reason. Upon notification, fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The mother, S.S. (28), left her four children, Ö.S. (2), C.Ç. (9), Z.S. (5), and M.A.Ç. (11), at home alone to take her daughter E.N.Z. (1) to the hospital. Of the children rescued with the help of citizens, Ö.S., Z.S., and C.Ç. died in the hospitals where they were taken with serious injuries.
M.A.Ç. (11), who was intubated, was transferred to Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital. The mother, S.S., who was reported to be absent during the incident, was released.

In the photos shared on the social media accounts of mother S.S., it was seen that she and the father, along with the deceased C.Ç., Ö.S., and the seriously injured M.A.Ç. (11), were present.
