A person was found dead in a pistachio field that caught fire in the Nizip district of Gaziantep. It was learned that the person lost their life while trapped in the flames while trying to intervene in the fire.

THE FIELD OWNER MADE THE FIRST INTERVENTION TO THE FIRE
A fire broke out for an undetermined reason in an agricultural area containing a pistachio orchard in the Yukarı Çardak neighborhood of the district. Noticing the fire, the field owner Yasin O. (55) intervened to prevent the flames from damaging his orchard.
HE LOST HIS LIFE
Upon notification, fire crews dispatched to the area extinguished the fire before it spread to surrounding areas. After the fire was extinguished, Yasin O. was found motionless near his land. Health teams determined that Yasin O. had lost his life during the check-up.
It was stated that the exact cause of Yasin O.'s death will be determined after the autopsy. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
