Accident occurs at airport in eastern Sud Kivu province, UN radio reports.

A plane crashed in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Wednesday, killing three people including two crew members and a passenger, according to a media report.

The accident occurred around 12: 00 p.m. local time [1100GMT] at the Kavumu Airport in Bukavu, the capital city of the eastern Sud-Kivu province, according to UN-run Radio Okapi.
