BORN IN 1946
Born on December 2, 1946, in Eskipazar, Çankırı, Ahmet Telli received his education at teacher training schools and worked as a Turkish language and literature teacher for many years. After being tried and imprisoned for a period following the 1980 military coup, he continued his work in publishing and writing. After the legal process, he returned to the teaching profession.
