As tensions escalate between the US and Iran, the US press has claimed that Israel shared intelligence with Washington regarding a new assassination plot by Iran against US President Donald Trump. Speaking after the allegations, Trump stated that he has instructed his military to "bomb Iran in an unprecedented way" if anything happens to him.

While the waters in the Middle East remain unsettled, the US press has brought to the agenda an intelligence sharing between Washington and Tel Aviv that will resonate globally. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources close to the matter, reported that Israeli intelligence uncovered a new assassination plot planned by Iran targeting US President Donald Trump and relayed this highly classified information to the Washington administration through official channels.

TRUMP'S FIRST STATEMENT ON THE ALLEGATIONS: REVEALED HIS SECRET INSTRUCTION TOWARD IRAN

Following the assassination claims, Trump, giving an exclusive interview to the New York Post, did not hide that he considers himself one of Iran's main targets.

Trump, announcing that he left a definitive order in advance to the American military against a potential attack scenario, said, "If something happens to me, I left instructions for Iran to be retaliated against with a power unprecedented in history. I told them to bomb them at a level they've never seen before."

Trump stated that since the killing of General Qasem Soleimani, commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force, in a US operation in 2020, he has been a direct target of Tehran, and that US intelligence services have accordingly raised security measures to the highest level.

CHANGED HIS PLANE UPON RETURN FROM ANKARA

During this period when cyber and physical security threats between the two countries peaked, urgent changes were also made to Trump's protection protocols. Upon his return from the NATO Leaders' Summit held in Ankara, Trump chose to use the old Air Force One plane, following the US Secret Service's security recommendations, instead of the new luxury Air Force One plane gifted to him by Qatar.

TEHRAN DENIES ALL ACCUSATIONS

During the funeral ceremonies held for Iran's former religious leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in US and Israeli attacks, millions carrying banners reading "We will kill Trump" and "Revenge" was the last straw escalating tensions in Washington.

Although Trump claims that the Iranian government has directly attempted to assassinate him twice in the past, the Tehran administration continues to firmly deny these allegations.

Iranian officials reject accusations that they are preparing any assassination plot against the US President and argue that these claims are baseless.
