The testimony of Portuguese model Tessy Ramos Correia, who was arrested in a drug and prostitution investigation, created a bombshell. Correia made shocking allegations about dismissed Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. In her statement, the model particularly referenced a luxury yacht party in Antalya during the summer of 2021 where drugs were also used, and claimed she had sexual relations with İmamoğlu. The model's allegations, which she submitted as evidence including videos and messages from her phone, are under investigation.
In the statement given to the prosecutor's office by Portuguese model Tessy Ramos Correia, who was arrested as part of a drug and prostitution investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, she made various allegations about Ekrem İmamoğlu, Haluk Levent, and Emir Sarıgül.
In her statement to the prosecutor's office, Correia admitted to using drugs and expressed regret, stating that she voluntarily gave her phone password to law enforcement officers and believed that the examination of her phone would reveal the truth.
In her statement, Correia claimed to have had relationships with Ekrem İmamoğlu, Haluk Levent, Hasan Vatan, and Emir Sarıgül on different dates, and stated that she wanted to share what she knew about environments where drugs were used. Correia requested that correspondence, photos, videos, and the contents of her mobile phone regarding the meetings she mentioned be added to the investigation file.
ALLEGATIONS AGAINST İMAMOĞLU REGARDING THE BOAT ORGANIZATION IN ANTALYA
One of the striking parts of Correia's statement concerned the boat organization she claimed was held in Antalya in 2021. Correia alleged that a person saved as 'Nadela Moldova' in her phone introduced her to wealthy businessmen and that she made money through these relationships.
Correia claimed that an organization with approximately 25-30 participants was held on two boats departing from Antalya in the summer of 2021, with men on one boat and mostly foreign women on the other.
Correia stated that she had sexual intercourse with Ekrem İmamoğlu during the said organization, and that a Russian woman named 'Olga' was also present in the same environment, adding that she thought İmamoğlu and this person might have known each other previously.
In her statement, the suspect alleged that İmamoğlu did not use drugs, but claimed there were drugs on the boat where the men were and that she used drugs there. The Portuguese model also alleged that group sex occurred on the boat.
The statement record noted that some correspondence and videos regarding the boat organization Correia mentioned were detected on her phone and added to the file.
ALLEGATIONS AGAINST HALUK LEVENT
Correia claimed that she contacted Haluk Levent in December 2021 and had sexual intercourse with him three times in exchange for money. She alleged that Levent used cannabis in her presence and that she also used drugs with him.
Correia stated that she received $1,000 payments for two of the meetings but did not remember how the last payment was made. The record indicated that the relevant correspondence from Correia's phone was detected and added to the investigation file.
COCAINE ALLEGATION AGAINST EMİR SARIGÜL
Correia also claimed to have had sexual intercourse with Emir Sarıgül three times in exchange for money. She alleged that they corresponded on November 27, 2021, for the purpose of sexual intercourse and that these messages were on her phone.
In her statement, Correia also said she witnessed Emir Sarıgül using cocaine in her presence, while the statement record noted that the messages found on the suspect's phone were detected and added to the file.
ALSO MADE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT HASAN VATAN
Correia also made various allegations in her statement about Hasan Vatan, the owner of Vatan Bilgisayar. Sharing the correspondence from her phone with Vatan, she claimed to have had sexual intercourse with him three or four times and alleged that parties with multiple women were held at his home.
Correia stated, however, that Hasan Vatan did not use drugs. The record included that some photos mentioned by the suspect were detected on the phone and added to the file.
'THE TRUTH WILL COME OUT WHEN MY PHONE IS EXAMINED'
Correia stated that she voluntarily gave her phone password when she was taken into custody, arguing that the correspondence, photos, and videos on the device would support her accounts. It is considered that criminal examinations of the digital data—such as creation dates, location information, parties, and contents—will be decisive for the course of the investigation.
It was reported that Correia, who has been under arrest for about a month and gave her statement with a translator and two lawyers, said she had been with many people in exchange for money, kept their correspondence on her phone, and regretted her drug use.
In the Forensic Medicine Institute examination of Correia's samples, drug findings were detected: 3 ng/ml cocaine, 156 ng/ml benzoylecgonine, and 14 ng/ml methylecgonine in her blood; cocaine and its metabolites in her urine sample; and THC along with cocaine and its metabolites in her hair sample.
While the ATK report contains findings supporting Correia's statement that she used drugs, the allegations she made against Ekrem İmamoğlu, Haluk Levent, Emir Sarıgül, and Hasan Vatan are based on the suspect's statement taken as part of the investigation. The accuracy of these allegations is expected to become clear as a result of the investigation authorities' joint evaluation of digital materials, communication records, location data, witness accounts, and other evidence.
