The preliminary autopsy report for 35-year-old actress Ece İrtem, known for her role as 'Işıl' in the TV series Kızılcık Şerbeti and who passed away on June 15, has been completed. According to initial assessments, the cause of death has been recorded as a heart attack; however, the alleged monkey attack during her vacation in Thailand, the possibility of sepsis (blood poisoning), and the scar marks on her arms are being investigated from multiple angles.
The preliminary autopsy report has been released in the investigation into the death of young actress Ece İrtem, who plunged the art community into mourning with her sudden passing on June 15.
According to Milliyet reporter Neslihan Keskin's article, the preliminary report prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institute stated that 35-year-old İrtem died of a heart attack based on initial findings. However, officials emphasize that this finding is not final and comprehensive examinations are ongoing.
"MONKEY ATTACK" CLAIM FROM THAILAND TRIP IN THE CASE FILE
In addition to the heart attack finding, striking claims in the case file are also being meticulously investigated by judicial authorities. In a petition submitted to the investigation file by the actress's lawyer Uğur Gökkoyun, it was noted that İrtem may have been attacked by a monkey during her trip to Thailand shortly before her death. This claim is reportedly being taken seriously within the scope of the investigation.
SEPSIS POSSIBILITY AND WOUND MARKS ON ARMS UNDER SCRUTINY
In connection with the alleged monkey attack, the possibility of blood poisoning (sepsis), which has also been debated publicly, has become a key point of the investigation. It was noted that judicial units are examining the wound marks detected on the actress's arms, and detailed tests will determine whether these findings have a direct link to her death.
FINAL CAUSE TO BE DETERMINED WITH FINAL REPORT
Officials stress that the assessments in the current preliminary report from the Forensic Medicine Institute reflect only initial findings. The definitive cause of Ece İrtem's death will be officially determined with the final report to be prepared after comprehensive autopsy procedures, detailed laboratory analyses, and all other forensic medical examinations are completed.
