Israel, which continues its plan to occupy Gaza with a policy of "burn and destroy," is once again preparing for a violent attack. The Israeli army announced before the attack on the city of Gaza, "We will strike high-rise buildings, evacuate the area."
The Israeli army is continuing its "scorched earth" policy to occupy the city of Gaza, which is home to approximately one million Palestinians, with support from land, air, and sea.
By intensifying its bombardment of the neighborhoods in the city of Gaza, particularly the eastern regions along the north and south axes, Israel is forcing the remaining Palestinians to evacuate and is preparing to carry out another violent attack. Israel, targeting civilians in the city of Gaza, announced, "We will hit high buildings, evacuate them."
UN Secretary-General Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric reacted to Israel's intensified occupation in Gaza and its attacks on the last high-rise buildings remaining in the city, stating, "The announcement that more high-rise buildings will soon be attacked also concerns us." Dujarric pointed out that Israel's increasing attacks are forcing more and more people to flee in Gaza, where almost everyone has been displaced multiple times and famine has been officially confirmed, and he said that the people in the north are now exhausted from being forcibly displaced.
WIDESPREAD OPERATION IN NEIGHBORHOODS
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz approved the "Operation Gideon's Chariots 2" on August 21, aimed at occupying the city of Gaza. The operation followed extensive attacks that began in the Zeytun neighborhood and extended to the Sabra neighborhood.
Simultaneously, the Israeli army launched an operation in the northern part of the city of Gaza, covering the neighborhoods of Jabalia al-Balad, al-Nazla, al-Saftawi, and Sheikh Ridwan. Since the beginning of August, more than 1,500 residences have been destroyed in Zeytun as a result of Israeli attacks.
TURNING DAMAGED ARMORED PERSONNEL CARRIERS INTO BOOBY-TRAPPED ROBOTS
The Israeli army is attacking facilities and infrastructure by converting damaged armored personnel carriers loaded with tons of explosives into booby-trapped robots. These robots are placed around residences and detonated, causing widespread destruction hundreds of meters away. The sounds of explosions can be heard from kilometers away.
During the genocide, the eastern part of Sheikh Ridwan had been a refuge for thousands of displaced families. However, those caught under heavy fire were forced to flee to the west or south of Gaza.
