RAINS ARE COMING
Cengiz Çelik, a meteorology expert from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, stated that thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected, especially in the northern and inland regions over the weekend.
Çelik said, "Regionally, we will see intermittent thunderstorms and heavy rain transitions both on Saturday and Sunday in the eastern Marmara, Inner Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and Black Sea regions." He noted that the rains will be particularly strong tomorrow in the eastern Marmara, around Kütahya, Eskişehir, and Düzce.
ANKARA AND ISTANBUL WILL BE RAINY
Çelik expressed that thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in Ankara over the next 3 days, stating that the highest temperatures in Ankara will drop to 30 degrees tomorrow, 26 degrees on Sunday, and 23 degrees on Monday.
Çelik mentioned that short-term local rains are expected in Istanbul tomorrow and on Monday, and the highest temperature in Istanbul is expected to be around 27 to 28 degrees.
