7 LIVES LOST

A passenger ship carrying 267 people, 259 passengers and 8 crew members, which departed from Girne Port in the TRNC to Taşucu Port in the Silifke district of Mersin, capsized 7 kilometers off the port. While 230 people were rescued, 7 people lost their lives, and search efforts continue for 23 people.
