President Erdoğan emphasizes determination in the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process.

In his speech at the "Science Dissemination Awards" ceremony held at the Istanbul Atatürk Cultural Center, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized the importance of determination in the "Terror-Free Turkey" process. Stating, "We know very well which powers, fed by blood, tears, and conflict, are disturbed by our efforts to disrupt a half-century-old scheme," Erdoğan added, "Together with 86 million, we will also take millions who feel they belong to this land with us and begin to write a new epic."

Highlights from President Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

I express my gratitude on behalf of myself and my nation to the scholars who contribute to our scientific knowledge with both new and quality works, paving the way for future studies. I would like to thank our secretariat, who meticulously evaluated the applications, our members of the Science and Honor Board, our technical experts, scientific referees, and the board of trustees of our foundation.

The interest in the İlim Yayma Awards is increasing significantly with each program. This year, a new record was set with a total of 1,324 applications from 188 institutions, including 174 universities, in three different categories. I have learned with great pleasure that the İlim Yayma Awards will gain an international identity starting from next year. Why shouldn't we have a Nobel Prize? We can take this step as well.

The primary aim of the İlim Yayma Awards is, of course, to recognize and reward good works and their authors. However, it is a fact that knowledge that is not adapted to life, that does not touch people, the field, or reality, and that is not used correctly and effectively does not yield results. I want to emphasize that I find our İlim Yayma Awards to be extremely successful in this regard. There are some names that leave a mark in history and serve as examples to youth in their lives, guiding them towards the future. The educational institutions, foundations, and associations they have established with their students will hopefully always remain open to be adorned with new good deeds.

The late Professor Sabahattin Zaim is one of these personalities. He played an important role in the upbringing of many young people both academically and socially. His aim was to be a good person and to raise beautiful people who are moralized with the ethics of our Prophet. During a time when uniformity was at its peak, our late professor also felt this need. History has seen youth who are wanted to be distanced from their values, beliefs, and culture as a priority.

We can already see how successful he was in his cause when we look at today's Turkey, at our youth who have been raised and are being raised, and at the booming TEKNOFEST generation. The students who have passed through his educational path are now serving our country with love in almost every field. May God be pleased with him.

Our society will celebrate its 75th anniversary next year. Our foundation, which has grown from the society, has completed 52 years. Despite the bans and pressures during the coup period when the will of the nation was usurped, we have completed a full three-quarters of a century in the journey of spreading the light of knowledge. This movement, initiated for knowledgeable, conscious, and conscientious generations, has borne fruit in every field.

The İlim Yayma family has taken responsibility for the establishment and sustainability of İmam Hatip schools in every period. Although some may struggle to digest their successes, our society has lived the belief of contributing over 100 İmam Hatip schools to our educational cause. Academic studies, cultural, artistic, and sports activities, as well as scholarships and specialization programs, continue with the same dedication.

I thank all our friends who have drunk from this fountain and eaten even a morsel of this bread. I pray for mercy from my Lord for those foundation people among us who have devoted their lives to goodness, charity, and knowledge. This evening, we have sociologists, historians, engineers, doctors, and many distinguished professors who have specialized in their fields.

Concepts that have been built upon with new theories, new practices, and new methods over centuries are gradually losing their significance. Meanings are eroding. Whatever is considered sacred is being systematically besieged. The so-called new realities imposed on the world through a positivist and materialist perspective harm humanity the most. The so-called civilized world merely watches the brutal genocide that has been carried out in Gaza for two years.

International media organizations that set up camp in Istanbul during the Gezi events did not even report the deaths of their colleagues in Gaza. 80% of the schools in Gaza, that is, 668 school buildings, have been targeted by Israeli bombs. 392 schools have become unusable. More than 13,500 students, over 830 teachers, and 193 scientists have been martyred by the occupying forces.

A conscious, deliberate, and planned policy of mass extermination has been implemented here. The 365 square kilometers of Gaza are covered with millions of tons of rubble. Ignoring this is to be complicit in mass extermination. We have never remained silent, and we will not remain silent in the future. Wherever we go in the world, we will shout this out everywhere.

I shouted these things in all sessions in South Africa, I talked about them. A ceasefire was achieved with our intervention. Israel is violating the ceasefire under fabricated pretexts. Hamas is taking a patient approach. We welcome this. We are watching the condition of our brothers' tents in Gaza on television.

As Turkey, we are doing whatever is necessary for the maintenance of the ceasefire and humanitarian aid. Israel is obstructing and opposing. There is a murderer at the head who has no sense of humanity. We will resolutely continue our two-state solution policy until there is a free and sovereign Palestine with its capital in East Jerusalem.

At the center of our tradition of knowledge is humanity, wisdom, and perfection. There is no place for an understanding that excludes humanity, disregards wisdom, and rejects evolution in our civilization's conception. Today, we are facing a significant threat. Humanity and existence. They want to reduce it to a material dimension and artificial ground. Just now, we saw how our scholars will destroy and distort artificial intelligence. This means that knowledge will, God willing, come to terms with these things. Concepts such as goodness, virtue, nature, ethics, conscience, and compassion are being attempted to be removed from the agenda of humanity.

This nation, which unites not only in fate but also in sorrow, has been attempted to be divided by those who draw strength from the Turk, Kurd, and Arab. Unfortunately, they have been somewhat successful. They turned our Arab brothers, who fought alongside us in Palestine, Syria, and Çanakkale, into enemies by saying, 'They stabbed us in the back.' They slandered the Ottoman Empire. They incited our brothers there by saying, 'The Turks invaded your country, changed your identity.' The screenwriter, director, and actor were the same; only the scenes were different.

A large disinformation campaign was conducted in social media and nationalist media outlets to prevent our nation's solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian people. It has been revealed that many of the accounts fueling this wave of hatred are managed from abroad. It has been understood that a significant portion of them are traitors affiliated with FETÖ. Now, we see that the same game is being attempted to be staged during the process of a terror-free Turkey.

We are, of course, aware of who is disturbed by this strategic move that will change the fate of our country, our nation, and hopefully the entire region.
