In response to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's statement, "They connected the Alevi house of worship to the Ministry of Culture because they call it 'Cemevi, Cümbüş evi'," President Erdoğan said, "The accusations against our party regarding our Alevi citizens are nothing more than a clear provocation."

In the introduction program of the AK Party Turkish World Vision Document, President Erdoğan responded harshly to the claim of CHP leader Özgür Özel regarding Alevi citizens.

In response to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's statement, "The logic of the AK Party is that they connected the Cemevi to the Ministry of Culture because they call it 'Cemevi, Cümbüş Evi'," President Erdoğan said, "The accusations directed at our party regarding our Alevi citizens are nothing more than slander; it is a clear provocation that attempts to undermine the brotherhood of 86 million people. Together with the millions who vote for our party, we reject these ugly attributions that deeply hurt our Alevi citizens."
