President Erdoğan is attending the official ceremony at Anıtkabir on the 87th anniversary of the passing of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey. Erdoğan laid a wreath at the mausoleum and signed the Anıtkabir Special Book. In his note, Erdoğan wrote: "Turkey is advancing confidently on the path to becoming a global power. May your spirit be blessed."
The founder of the Republic of Turkey, the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, is commemorated on the 87th anniversary of his passing with a state ceremony held at Anıtkabir.
ERDOĞAN LAID A WREATH AT THE MAUSOLEUM
The ceremony at Anıtkabir began with the procession of state officials along the Lion's Path. President Erdoğan, who laid a wreath at the mausoleum, later signed the Special Book.

Reading the lines he wrote in the Special Book of Anıtkabir, President Erdoğan stated; "Dear Atatürk, on the anniversary of your passing, we remember you, your comrades-in-arms, and our heroic martyrs with mercy. We passionately uphold the Republic of Turkey and intricately weave every inch of it with new works. We work day and night for a peaceful and stable Turkey at home, and a victorious Turkey abroad. Turkey is advancing confidently on the path to becoming a global power."
