According to a statement from the Presidency's Communication Directorate regarding the meeting, the leaders discussed Turkey-Ukraine bilateral relations, regional, and global issues.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan stated that the conflict process in Iran should not hinder peace efforts in Ukraine, that continuing negotiations without delay would be beneficial, and that it is important to heal Ukraine's wounds, initiate reconstruction activities, and ensure lasting security.

President Erdoğan expressed that maritime safety in the Black Sea is critically important for Turkey, and that ensuring a ceasefire that would protect energy infrastructures and ports could contribute to building trust between the parties, and that Turkey would provide all necessary support for this.
