REACTION FROM THE EDUCATION UNION

On the other hand, Ali Kenan Şerefli, the President of Eğitim-Bir-Sen Yozgat Branch No. 1, stated in a written statement that the incidents of violence occurring in schools negatively affect not only individuals but the entire educational environment.

Şerefli expressed that the news of Principal Fatih Bilir being assaulted by a parent caused great sadness and concern in the education community, and he noted:

"There can be no justification for violence against teachers and administrators working in educational institutions. Schools should be places of dialogue and solutions, not of disputes, anger, and physical intervention. Education workers take on responsibilities on behalf of the public while fulfilling their duties. The attack on our principal is an assault not only on an individual but also on the education system and social peace. We do not accept any form of violence. We strongly condemn all forms of attacks against education workers."
