President Erdoğan spoke for the first time about the discussions regarding Kılıçdaroğlu's preparations to return to the CHP following a court decision. The President stated, "It is impossible not to feel alarmed or ashamed in the face of what they have done to a person to whom they have buttoned their shirts for 13 years."
While the discussion about the "absolute nullity" risk regarding the CHP's congress process continues, the first comment came from President Erdoğan.
The debates following the words of CHP's former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, "I will not hand over the party to a trustee," are ongoing. Kılıçdaroğlu stated in an interview with TGRT News Ankara Representative Fatih Atik, "There is no court decision yet. Even if one comes out, I will not leave the party to a trustee. The comments made are a trap set for both the CHP and myself. It is meaningless to say that if I do not accept the duty, the decision becomes void. Would it be better if a trustee comes? Even the timing of the congress has become uncertain. Who will manage the party, and how? The CHP cannot be handed over to a trustee," he said.

Regarding these discussions, Erdoğan stated, "It is impossible not to feel ashamed in the face of what they have done to a person they have buttoned up to for 13 years. Dear friends, what do they say? The game never ends in Byzantium, and the fight never ends in the CHP." he said.
