President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the Extraordinary Joint Summit Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League.

In his speech, Erdoğan drew attention to the oppression in Palestine and stated that it is essential to find urgent solutions for delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. Erdoğan also reacted to the insufficient response of Muslim countries regarding Israel.

"IT IS ESSENTIAL TO FIND URGENT SOLUTIONS"

Highlights from President Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

"Here are the key points from Erdoğan's speech: The Netanyahu administration continues its attacks on Lebanon. Israel cannot tolerate even humanitarian aid reaching Gaza, and has been holding aid materials in Egypt for months. It is essential for us to find urgent solutions for delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza. Turkey has sent more than 84,000 tons of aid to Gaza so far. It is also ready to send much more when the blockades are lifted.

ISRAEL'S REACTION FROM MUSLIM COUNTRIES

Israel's aim is to settle in Gaza, eliminate the Palestinian presence in the West Bank, and ultimately annex it. This is the direction we are heading. We must prevent this. While a handful of Western countries provide all kinds of military, political, economic, and moral support to Israel, the insufficient response of Muslim countries has led to the situation on the ground reaching this point. It is extremely important for us to continue our efforts in coordination to take coercive measures against those committing genocide in Palestine. We cannot allow differences in views and attitudes to hinder our common cause.
