President Erdogan stated that the Victory of August 30 is the declaration to the entire world that the Turkish nation will never accept captivity. Saying, 'As long as the blue sky above does not collapse and the dark earth below does not crack, no one will be able to deter Turkey and the Turkish nation from its blessed struggle,' Erdogan said in his message for the August 30 Victory Day, 'The determination, courage, and resolve we showed as a nation 104 years ago, despite all kinds of impossibilities, remain our strongest source of motivation today.'
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a message on the occasion of the Victory Day of August 30.
In his message on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of the Victory Day of August 30, President Tayyip Erdogan said, “The determination, courage, and resolve we showed as a nation 104 years ago, despite all sorts of impossibilities, remain our strongest source of motivation today.”
Noting that this is the 104th anniversary of the Great Victory, which went down in history as the “Battle of the Commander-in-Chief,” Erdogan stated, “With the Victory of August 30, it has been reaffirmed once again that these lands, on which we have lived freely for a thousand years, are our eternal and everlasting homeland. The Great Victory, which also paved the way for the founding of our Republic, declared to the entire world that our nation would never accept captivity, while also breaking the imperialist siege aimed at our geography.”

“NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO DISSUADE TÜRKİYE FROM ITS GLORIOUS STRUGGLE”
Today, there is a Türkiye that strives to prevent oppression no matter where it comes from, to stand by the oppressed no matter who they are, and does not hesitate to pay a price when necessary for this cause. As long as the sky above does not collapse and the earth below does not give way, no one will be able to dissuade Türkiye and the Turkish Nation from their glorious struggle. Despite all the provocations and incitements of those who thrive on instability, we will continue, as a state and a nation, to stand on the side of truth, law, justice, peace, and stability.

Just as 104 years ago, I thank all my citizens who, in unity and solidarity, are lending their support to the construction of the Century of Türkiye. On this occasion, I commemorate with gratitude the Commander-in-Chief of the Great Victory, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and his comrades-in-arms, I pray to Almighty Allah for His mercy upon our martyrs, whom we regard as the eternal guardians of our independence, and I remember our veterans with gratitude.
