Balcı stated, "As of today, the price of bread has started to change in many of our provinces, and we had to update the price of 200 grams of bread to 17.50 lira."

HOW MUCH WAS IT SOLD FOR?

Bread was being sold for 15 lira in bakeries. Thus, there has been a 16.66 percent increase in the price of bread sold in bakeries.

Halil İbrahim Balcı had pointed out the rise in flour prices during a press conference he held last December and announced that there would be no price increase for bread until August 2026. In this context, it was stated that an upper price limit per kilogram for bread had been determined.
