Members of the CHP, İYİ Party, and New Way Party, who argued that Minister Ersoy was responsible for the death of 78 people in the hotel fire in Kartalkaya, protested Ersoy's speech and collectively left the hall.
After the parties with groups in the General Assembly, chaired by Deputy Speaker Celal Adan, expressed their views on the budget, the presentations of the ministers began. The first to take the podium was Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
OPPOSITION MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT LEFT THE HALL ONE AFTER ANOTHER
As Ersoy began to speak, members of the CHP, İYİ Party, and New Way Party stood up and left the hall in protest, citing Minister Ersoy's responsibility for the fire at the Grand Kartal Hotel in Kartalkaya, which resulted in the loss of 78 lives.
