Protesters who learned which hotel the Iran National Football Team would camp at in Los Angeles protested the team with the old lion and sun flag of Iran, as well as US and Israeli flags.
ARGUED WITH FANS
Protesters, supporters of Reza Pahlavi, son of Iran's deposed Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who shouted 'terrorist' slogans at the Iran National Football Team, later argued with pro-Iranian government fans who arrived in front of the hotel.
CONFRONTATION PREVENTED
The confrontation between the protesters was prevented in front of the hotel, where US security forces had taken extensive measures. The bus carrying the Iran National Football Team, which left the hotel for its first training session in Los Angeles, passed through the protesters.
