EMPHASIS ON STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in St. Petersburg today to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin following his visits to Oman and Pakistan. Stating that they are determined to maintain strategic relations between Moscow and Tehran, Putin said that Russia will continue to strengthen its ties with Iran.
"A MESSAGE CAME FROM KHAMENEI"
Putin noted that he received a message from Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei, and conveyed his best wishes to Khamenei and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The Russian leader emphasized that Russia hopes the Iranian people will overcome this difficult period and that peace will come, saying, “Russia will do everything to bring peace to the Middle East as soon as possible, in line with the interests of Iran and other countries in the region.”

Araghchi, expressing that the Iranian people have resisted and will resist US aggression thanks to their courage, thanked Putin for his support.
